Howdy,
I'm Shawn Barr!!
The mission, "Creating emotional connections through intentional design," has been my guiding principle since I first fell in love with design. By acting with intention, we have no choice but to do NOTHING BY ACCIDENT.
I crafted this sentiment by intertwining my passion for creativity with my commitment to loving people. With these two elements guiding my work, creating human-centered designs becomes a natural outcome.
I strive to produce uplifting and empowering work that leaves a lasting impression.
Afterall,
People ignore design that ignores people.

Illegibility:
Friend or Foe?
In this type exploration, I balanced Weingart's idea that legibility shouldn't restrict creative expression with the need for user-centered design. The mock death metal band logo was designed to be just illegible enough to capture attention while still maintaining some readability, striking a balance between intrigue and communication.
